Cookies

Cookie policy.

What we use, why, and how to opt out. Last updated 6 May 2026.

What cookies are

Cookies are small text files stored on your device by your browser. They let websites remember information about your visit. Like most sites, AIStackFit uses some cookies.

What we use

Necessary (always on)

We use a small number of necessary cookies and local-storage entries to make the site work. These include preferences (such as your assessment progress if you're partway through "Find your stack") and the result of your completed assessment if you've taken it. These aren't tracking cookies; they exist purely to make the product function.

Analytics (privacy-respecting)

We use a privacy-respecting analytics provider to understand how visitors use the site. The data collected is aggregated and doesn't identify you personally. We don't use Google Analytics or any similarly invasive tracker. You can see exactly what's being tracked by checking your browser's developer console.

Affiliate tracking

When you click an affiliate link to a third-party tool, that vendor may set their own cookies on your device to track the referral so we can be paid our commission. These are first-party cookies set by the vendor's site, not by us, and they're governed by the vendor's privacy policy.

What we don't use

We don't use advertising cookies, retargeting cookies, or social media tracking pixels. We don't share data with ad networks. We don't fingerprint your device.

How to control cookies

Most browsers let you block or delete cookies via the settings menu. Blocking necessary cookies may break parts of the site (notably "Find your stack" won't be able to remember your progress). Blocking analytics cookies has no impact on your experience.
